Our Growth

Telesystem began in 1994 as an affiliate of Buckeye CableSystem, Inc. (now Buckeye Broadband). Both Telesystem and Buckeye Broadband are wholly owned subsidiaries of the 118 year old, privately held, Block Communications, Inc. (BCI). The BCI family of media companies includes the Toledo Blade and Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspapers and network television affiliates in ID, IL, OH, and KY. In 2014, Telesystem and BCI purchased a Philadelphia based communications provider, Line Systems, that covered a five state region on the Atlantic seaboard. In this same timeframe, BCI purchased MaxxSouth, a cable TV provider covering the entire Eastern half of Mississippi. These expansions provide significant additional growth opportunities for Telesystem and our customers.

Our Partners

Telesystem has built a nationwide network of trusted partners who help deliver confidence and empower businesses. Guided by our shared customer-centric mission, Telesystem works alongside these partners to design unique solutions to address the business-specific needs of each customer. The Telesystem Partner Program, which features our select group of Telesystem Elite Agents, includes hundreds of partners across the country.
